Good food. Great people. Greater energy.
A look at the quarterly tradition that keeps Brothers, Brothers and the mission that holds it all together.

Walk into a Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Electric Jamboree, and the first thing that hits you isn’t a slideshow or an agenda. It’s the sound.
Eighty-plus people laughing over breakfast. Tables shouting team names during trivia. A standing ovation for someone’s 15-year work anniversary. Applause that doesn’t stop until the person walking up actually accepts it.
Four times a year, we slow everything down for a morning where the entire team gets together, shares a meal, and focuses on what matters most: making sure the people doing the work know we see them.
This is what our culture looks like in real life.
It Starts with a Mission We Actually Mean
Brothers was founded in Denver in 1980 as a family-owned company, and the mission written back then is still the one we live by today:
To develop lasting relationships where everyone wins; to show our team members, clients, and community that WE CARE; and to provide a safe, honest, and helpful working environment.
Read it closely and you’ll notice something, three audiences, same priority:
team members, clients, community.
That win-win-win philosophy isn’t a tagline. It’s how we operate. You can’t take care of clients if you’re not taking care of the team that shows up at their door. And you can’t be part of a community if you’re not giving back to it.

Our values back it up: Family. Care. Excellence.
Our vision is simple—to be the company best known for going above and beyond expectations.
Forty-six years in, that’s still the bar.
So, What Is a Jamboree, exactly?
Jamboree is the day each quarter where the entire company stops and looks at itself together.
We define it right up front: Good Food. Great People. Greater Energy.
And we focus on three things that drive it: Friendship, Fire, and Fuel.
It’s not just the techs; our Client Care, admin, and leadership teams are all right there in the middle of it.

Friendship is an easy one.
We eat together. We play together. Every new hire is welcomed by name. We celebrate milestones—5, 10, 15, and even 32 years on the team. (And when you’ve been here since 1994, you’ve earned the right to take your time walking to the front.)
Fire is excellence on display.
Top performers in service, sales, closing, precision, response time, reviews, and more are recognized in front of the entire company. New team members don’t have to guess what great looks like—they see it.
Fuel is what people leave with.
Promotions are announced. Apprentices stepping into the field are recognized. Bonus and trip qualifications are reviewed. Everyone walks out with something in the tank for the next 90 days.
Why Recognition Isn’t Optional
There’s a quote we share every quarter, and it’s the reason Jamboree exists:
“The deepest principle in human nature is the craving to be appreciated.”
— William James
Not “people like to be appreciated.”
Not “it’s a nice perk.”
The deepest principle in human nature.
We built Jamboree around that idea because we learned something a long time ago:
You can’t ask a team to live out WE CARE if they don’t feel it first—consistently, publicly, and out loud.
Recognition isn’t a reward for the mission.
It’s what fuels it.
Honoring the Long Haul
Some of the loudest applause at every Jamboree is for the people who’ve been here the longest.
This quarter, we celebrated three milestones, along with a team member marking 32 years with Brothers. That’s not a typo.
Reaching New Heights Together
If you’ve ever wondered what makes Brothers different—whether you’re considering a career here, calling us about your furnace, or just curious what 46 years of family-based leadership looks like today—this is it.
We’ve built a culture where appreciation isn’t an afterthought.
Where the people doing the work are celebrated by the people, they do it with.
Where, every quarter, the room gets quiet long enough for the company to look the team in the eye and say: We see it. We appreciate it. Here’s what’s next.
Friendship. Fire. Fuel.
Family. Care. Excellence.
It’s how we treat each other.
It’s how we treat your home.
It’s how we’ve done it since 1980.
And it’s why, four times a year, we throw a Jamboree.
Want to See It from the Inside?
We’re always looking for service professionals who care about people, take pride in their trade, and want to keep growing.
If you’re a plumber, HVAC tech, or electrician who wants to work somewhere that takes care of you the same way it asks you to take care of clients we’d love to talk.
