To trace the source of the Brothers’ Plumbing legacy, we have to go back to when Marvin and his brother were simply, well, brothers! Their dad was a plumber, and the sons saw that it was good honest work for a day’s wage. In 1980, they decided to follow in their father’s footsteps and go into business for themselves. Driving down the road together, one of them asked, “What should we call our company?” The other replied, “Well, we’re brothers, aren’t we?” And that’s how Brothers Plumbing was born!
Marvin’s son, Justin, and daughters, Lynn and Michelle, played among the big boxes in the warehouse as kids. As they grew up, dad put them to work answering phones, filing, cleaning offices, cleaning trucks, and doing yard work.
Justin eventually went from running parts to job sites to becoming a master plumber, estimator, and department manager. The sisters, Lynn and Michelle, returned to Brothers after receiving bachelor’s degrees in business. What was solely a plumbing business had branched out into residential heating & cooling, as well as an electrical division. In 2015, Marvin felt confident enough to step away from the company and retire, and to make it official, Justin, Lynn, and Michelle bought the business from their dad.
Sisters, Lynn and Michelle, became spokespersons for the company, now famous as “the Sisters from Brothers.” The systems and processes that their father put into place have been refined as the company has grown.
For 40 Years, Brothers Plumbing Heating & Electric Has Cared About Our Clients And Community
Now, at 40 years old, the Brothers team is just that – a team working to fulfill a mission of building long-lasting relationships, and showing our clients and community how much we care about them. Brothers Plumbing Heating & Electric makes it a point to give back through area charities on a regular basis to pay it forward and show their care for their community.
That caring, in turn, is reflected in the employees’ campaign awarding Brothers as one of Denver’s “Top Workplaces” for 3 years in a row.
Brothers may be celebrating 40 years, but we promise you, we’re just getting started.
