A Purpose-Driven Partnership: The Master’s Apprentice Honored by Brothers Gives Back This August
We’re excited to share that The Master’s Apprentice (MAP) is one of our August Brothers Gives Back donation recipients! This month, we’re proud to support their mission with a contribution that helps them continue transforming lives through skilled trades training.
This cause is close to home. A couple of our team members nominated MAP for this month’s donation, and some have even attended their program. They know firsthand the difference MAP makes for people starting careers in the trades.
Who Is The Master’s Apprentice?
Founded in 2013, The Master’s Apprentice is a faith-based nonprofit that prepares people from underserved communities for careers in construction. They do this through a tuition-free pre-apprenticeship program.
Here’s what sets MAP apart:
-
Hands-On Learning – Participants train in the classroom and on active job sites.
-
Six-Week Program – Students graduate with the skills they need to enter the trades quickly.
-
Support While Learning – Each participant receives a $100 weekly stipend to help with essentials like gas.
-
Career-Ready Credentials – Graduates earn their OSHA 10 certification and step directly into apprenticeship opportunities.
-
Ongoing Mentorship – Success Coaches guide graduates even after the program ends.
Why Brothers Gives Back Supports MAP
MAP’s mission matches ours. They create opportunities, strengthen the skilled trades workforce, and empower people to build better futures. By supporting MAP, we invest in individuals who will go on to make a lasting impact in their communities.
